Kamiakin youth lacrosse club -  2025 shootout tournament - APRIL 26/27, 2025

We are excited to announce the upcoming 18th annual Shootout Tournament hosted by The Kamiakin Youth Lacrosse Club (KYLC). This annual event brings together teams from all over to compete in a friendly but competitive atmosphere.   Up to 80 boys and girls' teams from Kinder to 8th grade are expected to participate this year.  Shootout is located at The Columbia Park in Kennewick, Washington, a grass and tree covered 400-acre recreation area situated on the banks of the beautiful Columbia River.  Please join us on Saturday April 26 for qualifying games and Sunday April 27 for playoff games.

TEAM AVAILABILITY

With 9 playing fields, Shootout can comfortably accommodate up to 80 lacrosse teams, but space is limited so please register soon.  See bottom of page for list of registered teams.
  • Boys 7/8 - 14 of 16 teams registered      
  • Boys 5/6 - 12 of 16 teams registered    
  • Boys 3/4 - 12 of 16 teams registered    
  • Boys K-2 -   7 of 16 teams registered     
  • Girls 7/8 - 0 of 6 teams registered
  • Girls 5/6 - 1 of 6 teams registered

TOURNAMENT FEES 

Shootout Tournament fees are per team, as follows:
  • Boys 7/8 - $895     Girls 7/8 - $375
  • Boys 5/6 - $895     Girls 5/6 - $375
  • Boys 3/4 - $695     Girls 3/4 - $275
  • Boys K-2 - $295     Girls K-2 - $195

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The format for the tournament will be pool play (qualifiers) on Saturday followed by playoffs and-or consolation games on Sunday.
  • Pool play points will determine seeding for playoff rounds: 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie and 0 points for a loss.
  • Tie breakers for pool play will be in the following order: 1) head-to-head, 2) goal differential (6 goal max), 3) goals allowed.

HOTELS & ACCOMODATIONS

The Tri-Cities, inclusive of Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco, have a variety of local hotels that can easily accommodate our visiting guests.  We are working with hotels to obtain discounted rates for Shootout, and these will be posted soon.
